My career reduced to bullet points:
- First year teaching: 6th grade science at Austin Middle School (Galveston ISD) in 1998.
- Second teaching job: 9th grade biology at Duncanville 9th Grade Center (Duncanville ISD) in 2000.
- Longest teaching assignment: 12 years at Santa Fe High School (Santa Fe ISD) from 2001 to 2013.
- School I never taught at but always wanted to: Comm Arts HS in San Antonio. It's an arts, AV, and communication magnet!
- Most incorrect statement: I'll never leave the classroom.
- Favorite lesson to teach: balancing chemical equations. No. Really.
- Least favorite lesson to teach: scriptwriting formats. So formulaic.
- Where I see myself in 10 years: Either back in the classroom or a CTE or tech admin position.
